Let's chat about ōi, with Michael Fox. An evening for our volunteers!

Michael Fox is a PhD Candidate at the University of Auckland, School of Biological Sciences. Michael's research is focused on seabird restoration in New Zealand, in particular, he is interested in the ōi (grey-faced petrel or northern muttonbird - Pterodroma gouldi). Michael's project is transdisciplinary in nature and seeks to bring together research methods from biology, archaeology, and sociology to inform conservation management.

How lucky are we to have him visit the us, and the local ōi burrows during this year’s ōi season?
