No to the Fast Track Approval bill!
The Karioi Project is concerned about the Fast Track Approvals bill that is currently open for submission. We oppose the bill in its current form. We ask you to also consider your thoughts and position on this bill and the potential impact it may have on our taiao.
Below are our key reasons why we oppose the bill in its current form. We hope it will inspire you and your community to also put in a submission. We know that some submissions and guides out there may seem complicated - but you can just keep things simple.
Submissions close at 11:59pm on Friday, 19 April 2024.
So you'll have to get cracking if you want to put together a submission.

I've drafted something... what next?
If you've prepared a submission document like we did, then all you need to do is upload it as a submission at the link below.
And that's it! You've added your say on a very important bill that could have far-reaching and long-term impacts on the taiao of Aotearoa. Tell others about it! Encourage others to add their voice too!
