Native tree identification
“To be without trees would, in the most literal way, be without our roots.”
— Richard Mabey
This is an introduction to native trees and their various adaptations. We head outdoors to get hands-on experience in identifying some native species. We’ll also be looking at indigenous knowledge and traditional uses for various native trees and plants. We’ll address the threats that trees face and actions that can be taken to help.
